new keurig coffee makers – the best one yet

Nearly everyone loves a good cup of “joe”. Nothing beats a steaming cup of coffee to begin the day. I remember the days of my mother’s old aluminum coffee pot that she placed on the kitchen stove about five each morning. Even as a kid,  nothing could replace the smell of fresh brewing coffee. Times have changed…look what has happened to coffee makers!

Meet the new Keurig  – Keurig K475 Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker

  1. Brews up to 12 oz cup using the K-cup pods
  2. Brews up to 30 oz using the k-carafe pods
  3. 70 oz water supply – brews up to 8 cups without having to refill

The Keurig concept of making coffee

Coffee making has come a long way since I was a kid. As I stated above, my memories are still fresh about my mother making coffee in the old aluminum coffee pot.

Today, it is so easy the night before I go to bed to fill the reservoir with water, pop a Keurig K-pod in the lid and wait for the morning. Crawling out of bed it is easy to push the button and smell the coffee brewing.

Every cup is fresh…not stale. Make just one cup at a time. Gone are the days in which you had to put your coffee in a thermos, or drink stale coffee that had been in the pot for 2 or 3 hours. Nothing is worse than drinking stale coffee.

The true beauty is that I can fix a fresh cup of tea, hot chocolate, coffee or just hot water for soup. Can’t do that in an aluminum coffee pot.

Pros and Cons of the Keurig
